John Halstead is a Pagan activist and author. He helped found the first chapter of 350.org in his home state, Indiana, where he advocates for a just transition from fossil fuels to a renewable energy economy. John was also the principal facilitator of “A Pagan Community Statement on the Environment” (ecopagan.com), which has collected almost 10,000 signatures from 90 countries, has been translated into 16 languages. In addition, John writes about Paganism and activism at The Huffington Post, Patheos (formerly), Gods & Radicals, Witches & Pagans, and on his own blog, AllergicPagan.com. John is also the Editor-at-large at HumanisticPaganism.com and the editor of the anthology, Godless Paganism: Voices of Non-Theistic Pagans.
