Limited Capacity seats available

This ritual will be dedicated to Inanna, the Sumerian goddess of love, passion, sexuality, and war. Inanna is depicted as the “liberated woman” who bears the traditional symbols of masculine and feminine power and is featured in some reliefs as a woman wearing armor traditionally worn by men.
The subject matter of the ritual will include the Inanna Cycle - the chronological retelling of Inanna’s gradual rise to power from a goddess of the storehouse to a prime mover who decreed destiny.
Participants will be led in a symbolic purification prior to the ritual proper; the ritual will consist of a call and response invocation with drumming, chanting, offerings, and proclamations of praise.
