Limited Capacity seats available

In many traditions, learning or interpreting the oral knowledge or sacred texts is a core, profound act of identity, a way of rooting oneself in the grove of the tradition.
Sacred texts can be creeds or belief statements, requirements for membership, deep interpretations of a relationship to mystery, histories and stories, divine messages, or connection points to the values of a community.
As a group we will explore, through discussion and sharing experience, what defines a sacred text, the value of diving into deep study, and ideas and tools for approaching the exploration of sacred texts. We will focus on general definitions and tools, but please feel free to bring your sacred texts if they would help make the discussion concrete for you.
The facilitators of this workshop have been on a small-group journey of deep engagement with a text from one tradition. We will bring our individual and collective experiences, ideas, and perspectives to our facilitation of this discussion, which we hope will be the beginning of an adventure for participants.

A queer witch of Swiss-German and Welsh ancestry. Earnest and rule-abiding tossed with oddball and rebellious, plus a little jigger of bookish, a splash of punk, and a heaping helping of non-binary - packaged in a glamour of "normal".
