Sacred space within Kemetic temples was designed to connect the physical and non-physical realms within the world for the purpose of ritual and perpetuating ma’at.  Throughout the history of ancient Egypt, grand temples were built and rebuilt time and time again. While elaborate temples in the ancient Egyptian style are built infrequently in the modern age, the need for an ordered space to facilitate this connection is still embraced in multiple traditions for ritual and magical practice.
This session will give a brief overview of the framework and purpose of ancient Egyptian temples.  We will explore application of that framework in regards to creating sacred space for individual and Community practices today.
