Using the 6th cent. Irish poet Amergin's poem ‘The Cauldron of Poesy’ along side Taliesin poems ‘The Spoils of Annwfon’ and the ‘The Hostile Confederacy’ as a basis, I will explore ways of interpreting and working with ancient teachings that keep this material vital and relevant for todays spiritual journeyers and magic workers.
Part active meditation and part exploration of the cauldron generally within our myths, legends and magical practice. I will also look to bring a deeper perspective on how we all work with this most fundamental of magical tools, its deep relevance within the myths as a vessel of the soul, as well as the cauldron of inspiration and the vehicle by which the Awen is expressed.
